Ron’s training focus is on reining, working cow horse, and ranch horses, but he works with many disciplines.  His goal is to develop a solid, quiet, dependable horse that can perform it's job.  Ron's philosophy has developed from his own experience over the years and has been influenced in part by the teachings of Ray Hunt, Tom and Bill Dorrance, Buck Brannaman, Bryan Neubert, Jack Brainard, and Richard Caldwell.  In the traditions of the California vaquero, Ron follows the training path of snaffle bit and hackamore, allowing plenty of time for the horse to develop.  Here is a link to some of our favorite quotes from these great horsemen or what we like to call Cowboy Logic.
