SHOW SEASON RESULTS

Edinburgh, Indiana July 24 and 25, 2010
Congratulations Cheryl, Ellen, and Michelle!
Michelle Merkley, of Peoria, Illinois recently moved her horses, Tango and Tucker, to RC Performance Horses. Michelle has ridden in reining clinics with Ron and in 2009 purchased Tucker (Smart Jazz Man by Smart Like Juice) from us. Michelle has been having a great show season in 2010 including showing at the ARHA World Show this past June in Tennessee. She continued her winning ways with a first place finish on Tucker in the All Age Senior Ranch Riding. Way to go Michelle!
Ron showed Tucker to a second place finish in the $500 Added All Age Ranch Reining. Ron and Tango took second in the All Age Ranch Cutting.
Ellen Milligan of Hillsboro, Indiana had a fantastic weekend. In April, Ellen brought her gelding, "T", to RC Performance Horses for a tune-up. Their show season got off to a rough start at New Castle, but Ellen was determined to do better and boy did she! They placed first in Amateur Horsemanship and second of seventeen in the Amateur Ranch Riding. Good job Ellen! All those transitions and turns on the haunches paid off.
Cheryl Bluett and her young gelding, Frankie, had a marvelous outing in only their second horse show. On Saturday they placed third in the Amateur Ranch Riding.
On Sunday they started with a second in the Amateur Ranch Trail and followed up with a second in the All Age Junior Ranch Riding. They finished the day placing third in the Amateur Horsemanship. What a great start to this young horses show career.
