Almosta Kid earns ARHA titles
Almosta Kid earned her ARHA Champion title in 2009. She completed her Register of Merit (ROM) in
Conformation and in Ranch Reining.
Saturday, January 16th, the Indiana Ranch Horse Association held it's annual membership meeting and awards banquet at the
Henry Co. Fairgrounds. 2009 Year end awards earned by RC Performance Horses include:

RON & ALMOSTA KID EARN ALL AGE WEEKEND HIGH POINT.
"Mae"concluded her 2009 ranch horse show season with a first in Four and Over Mares and GRAND CHAMPION MARE. She also was first in All Age Ranch Horse Trail. Showing how versatile a ranch horse can be, she was 4th of 19 entries in All Age Ranch Cutting, and second in both Barrels and Poles. She also placed in Ranch Reining and Reining. After eight years of showing in AQHA, NRHA, and ARHA shows it is time to pull the shoes, leave the blankets off and grow some hair!
In other news from Rochester, Ron rode Smart Jazz Man for Michelle Merkley to a third place finish in both the Reining and Jackpot Ranch Reining.
Also, He Art A Pine Bar, ("T"), owned by Troy and Ellen Milligan of Hillsboro, Indiana, was shown in his first ranch horse show. Ron and "T" were second out of 22 horses in the Open Adult Walk Trot and finished 7th of 14 in the All Age Ranch Reining.
Berrin Springs, Michigan, Aug 1 & 2
Almosta Kid gives a solid performance at the ARHA show held at the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds. She placed first in All Age Ranch Reining, All Age Reining, and All Age Ranch Trail.
Smart Jazz Man places 4th of 18 in All Age 4 & Over Geldings and 2nd in All Age Ranch Reining.
Edinburg, Indiana July 25 & 26
Ron rode Smart Jazz Man to first place in the All Age (Open) Senior Ranch Riding class at the ARHA show in Edinburgh, Indiana. They placed first out of sixteen horses under judge David Terrell of Tennessee. In addition, they took first place money in the Jackpot Ranch Reining, third in All Age Four and Over Geldings, and fourth in All Age Ranch Reining.
Riding Almosta Kid, Ron placed third in All Age Ranch Reining and third in All Age Reining.
